Rory O’Sullivan is a storyteller and social activist. While an undergraduate, he wrote three original plays which won awards at the Jerome Hynes Theatre Awards for One Act Plays in Galway, as well as the Irish Student Drama Awards. His play Dorset Street Toys, premiered at the Galway Theatre Festival and toured nationally to critical acclaim.
Rory works with Youthreach students, helping them create and perform theatre as part of their education. His activism focuses on Irish masculinity and abuse, and he has spoken on these topics for ISCPA and UNICEF. He is also a co-founder and spokesperson for Our Time, a charity supporting families dealing with severe mental illness.
