Rachel Kerns has been participating in amateur and educational theatre productions since 2005. In 2012, she graduated cum laude from San Francisco State University in San Francisco, California with a B.A. in Technical Theatre and Design. Prior to her acceptance into The Lir’s MFA Stage Design course, she designed and constructed props for San Francisco-based theatre companies, including 99Stock Productions’ 2012 submission to the New York International Fringe Festival Edward Gant’s Amazing Feats of Loneliness! (Recipient of FringeNYC Overall Excellence Award for Overall Production). Her most recent projects include props design and construction for 99Stock Production’s original work Hitcher (August 2013) and scenic design for Terminus (January 2014) with Galway-based ThereisBear
