Matt Burke is a lighting designer for theatre and dance. His design work of note includes 'Star of the Sea' by Moonfish Theatre, 'On.Pulse' by Lucia Kickham Dance, and 'You Could Be Us' by Fregoli Theatre. He has worked extensively with An Taibhdhearc: 'Dún na mBan Trí Thine' Galway International Arts Festival 2017, Fornocht do Chonac' GIAF 2016, 'Cinneadh na Circe' 2016, 'Maum' GIAF 2015, 'An Tíoránach Drogallach' GIAF 2014 and others.

He has also designed for Brú Theatre, Jessie Keenan Dance, Abú Media, Achill Harp Festival 2016, Westport Arts Festival 2016, Fíbín Drámaíochta, No Ropes Theatre, Galway Dance Days Festival, Anam Theatre, 50% Male Dance, Mephisto Theatre, Thereisbear! and many other Galway theatre groups
