Other Experience

Maria Jervey is originally from Boston, Massachusetts. She holds a BA in theatre with a concentration in performance and a minor in Dramatic Literature from Salem State University. During her time as an undergraduate, she wrote her first full-length play, Being, which was presented as a staged reading at the university. After receiving her Bachelors degree she went on to pursue her MFA in playwriting at The Lir, where she wrote her most recent play, Island of Swans.
