Julia Griffin is a director, producer, an actor based in Seattle, Washington. Before heading across the ocean, Julia served as Associate Artistic Director at Theater Schmeater, one of Seattle’s foremost fringe houses—producing great plays simply since 1992. She has been on staff since 2008 serving various positions, such as Production Manager, Literary Manager and Casting Director.

Prior to leaving her home state for the beautiful Puget Sound, Julia graduated from the University of Montana with BA in Theatre. She has been an active member of Seattle’s vibrant theater community, working with local companies such as 14/48 Projects, Seattle Public Theater, GreenStage, Seattle Shakespeare Company, and Live Girls! Theater.
