Johan Bark is a Swedish theatre director, performer and musician currently based in Dublin, Ireland.
Johan has a First Class BA (Hons) Degree in European Theatre Arts from Rose Bruford College in London.
Previous directing credits include:
The Crossing Place. (Performed at Västmanlands Teater (Sweden), Summerhall (Edinburgh) and Theatre De Menilmontant (Paris) ).
What Lies Beneath. (Performed at ZOO Venues (Edinburgh), Theatre De Menilmontant (Paris), The Crescent Theatre (Birmingham) and The Space Arts Centre (London) ).
P.A.T.S. (co-director) (Performed at the FlyPit in (London),Theatre De Menilmontant (Paris), The Crescent Theatre (Birmingham), the Teatro Do Festa Festival in Portugal (August 2017) and the Camden Fringe Festival (London) ).

Other previous studying and training include workshops for Robert Wilson and his collaborators at the 2015, 2016 and 2017 International Summer Programs at the Watermill Center, training for Arianne Mnouchkine of Theatre Du Soleil in Oxford, UK, and training at The Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, Tallinn, Estonia.
For Robert Wilson, Johan has also participated in workshops that led to the productions of EDDA at Det Norke Teatret in Oslo (2017), and The Sandman at the Schauspielhaus Theater, Düsseldorf, Germany (2017).
Johan has also shadowed the rehearsals of Wilson’s production Faust 1+2 by the Berliner Ensemble, at Theatre Du Chatelet in Paris.
Johan has worked for the international theatre company Awake Projects for productions at the 2013 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, as the project assistant for the 2014 ArtsLab project at the North Wall Arts Centre in Oxford, UK, and as the centre assistant at the Watermill Center, New York, in the summer of 2017.
