She founded her independent Caravan theatre company, whose mission was primarily to “perform plays about women and their problems, their struggle with the norms and their seeking of a coherent identity”, yet the vision was not strictly feminist. She directed a number of plays including “Top Girls”, “Lanark”, “Virginia Woolf”, ”Sketches”, “Dans la Solitude des Champs de Coton” and “Night Blindness”. She won the National Theater director`s award, “Best Rising Director” for directing “Memory of Water” in 2007. She also wrote one act plays, three of them were published in the One-Act plays book, “Enough”.
