Other Experience
Eavann completed an undergraduate degree in Scriptwriting and Performance at the University of East Anglia in June 2019. During her time there, she gathered experience in many fields of theatre including directing, sound engineering, writing and acting. Her play “Freedom”, which was about the IRA bombings in the Bishopsgate area of London in 1993, was produced by the Minotaur Theatre Company at the university in February. For her final project of her undergraduate degree, she wrote, produced and acted in a short play “Suspension” which deals with the options available to a young woman who may be pregnant in Northern Ireland in 2018. Eavann began her writing career in 2012 with a fortnightly column in The Irish News whilst still at school.
