Hailing from San Francisco and Los Angeles, Cyle is a director, actor, fight director, and stage combat instructor. Directing credits include Arthur Miller’s A View from the Bridge; Adam Bocks’ Swimming in the Shallows; and his own adaptation of the classic Greek trilogy, The Oresteia.
Cyle received his BA from Saint Mary’s College of California; in performance and theatre studies, as well as technical theatre and design. In California, he worked as the founding Artistic Director of Back Hand productions, and the resident fight director at Diablo Valley College’s Department of Drama. Most recently, he graduated from East 15 Acting School at the University of Essex in London, where he was awarded an MA with Distinction in Theatre Directing; and worked as assistant to British director Charlotte Westenra. Cyle holds stage combat certifications from Dueling Arts International, and the British Academy of Dramatic Combat.
