Cristín is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin where she studied English Literature and Drama & Theatre Studies. While at university, her plays Caravan (Players Theatre) and The Penny Drop (Players Theatre) were produced. In 2012, Cristín participated in Dublin Theatre Festival’s ‘Play On’ initiative and her play This is the Day was showcased in the Project Arts Centre. In 2013 This is the Day was produced as part of the 10 Days in Dublin festival (Smock Alley Theatre) and Galway Fringe Festival (Cube Theatre). In March 2014, Cristín collaborated with London-Irish theatre company, Whispering Beasts on The Playboy Variations at The Ophelia Theatre, London. Cristín studied the MFA in Playwriting at The Lir Academy, Trinity College Dublin from 2013-2014. During this time she wrote her latest play, Shelter.
