Vacancy: Admissions & Short Course Manager

The Lir, National Academy of Dramatic Art at Trinity College Dublin, is seeking applicants for the role of Admissions & Short Course Manager. The deadline for application is Monday, July 15th.

The role of Admissions & Short Course Manager at The Lir Academy offers a broad insight into the recruitment process of Lir students onto all our courses and workshops. This role is involved in nurturing young talent on our short courses and access programmes, as well as guiding applicants through to the final stages of acceptance onto our undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. The role of Admissions & Short Course Manager also offers the exciting opportunity to engage with our alumni through the facilitation of our Alumni Network, allowing the successful candidate to be part of a student’s full progression from applicant to professional dramatic artist.

The primary role of the Admissions & Short Course Manager is to manage the admission process for Lir applicants. The Admissions & Short Course Manager will report directly to the Director of Administration and will also have a line of reporting to the Commercial Department in managing short courses. The Admissions & Short Course Manager will also work alongside the Development department to support the facilitation of the Alumni Network and both the Technical Training Department and Marketing Department on supporting recruitment drives for associated courses.

The successful candidate will join the Lir Administrative team which includes the Director of Administration & Company Secretary, Finance Officer, Academic Administrator, Events & Operations Manager, HR Manager, and Receptionist.
