Tom Vaughan-Lawlor
Tom Vaughan-Lawlor came to The Lir to have a chat with our students
Tom who is in town rehearsing for Howie the Rookie in the Project Arts Centre took time out to have a chat with our students and to offer sage advice to the actors in training. Tom stressed the importance of acting training and realises now, ten years after he finished his training in RADA that the training is still having a significant effect on not only his acting technique but in the manner in which he approaches each new character.
He also made a point of talking about the production behind a play and the role of the Stage Manager who he admitted offered so much support that he would be lost without this presence.
