The Haddad Foundation has awarded scholarships for Brazilian students looking to pursue postgraduate studies at Trinity College Dublin. The application is due April 11th, and we recommend applying as soon as possible to give you as much time to complete the necessary details.
Since 2015, the Haddad Foundation has awarded scholarships to Brazilian students looking to pursue postgraduate studies at Trinity College Dublin. The scholarship's main goal is to develop academics in the humanities who will enhance Brazil’s intellectual and cultural landscape. There are two types of scholarships - the ABEI/Haddad Fellowship, working with the Brazilian Association of Irish Studies, focused on Literature, History, Communication, and Cinema; and the Haddad Fellowship, with a focus on Literature and Theatre. These scholarships cover full tuition and provide a cost allowance. Thus far, 29 scholarships have been awarded in courses such as Theatre & Performance, Literary Translation, and Comparative Literature.
We have been fortunate to have had Haddad participants in our MFA programs since 2022. Our Haddad recipient graduates follow all types of different pathways - some are directors, and costume designers, others design sets, and are lighting designers and technicians.
The application is due April 11th and we recommend applying as soon as possible to give you as much time to complete the necessary details. You can see more on that here.
